A simple bequest in your will is a great way to make a gift that you might not otherwise be able to give. Make a gift today that will support critically ill children and their families, for generations to come.

We’ve partnered with FreeWill to make it simpler than ever to create your legal will, and start your legacy with Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest in the process. If you need to put an up-to-date plan in place, you can create your legal will for free using this trusted resource from FreeWill.

Give Through Your Will

If you are over 70.5, giving from your IRA helps you reduce your taxable income — and for those who must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), and an IRA gift is a simple way to fulfill it while supporting critically ill children and their families.

We have invested in a secure IRA donation tool to make it easier than ever to give to Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest directly from your IRA, and receive tax benefits. It only takes a few minutes to use, and will auto-complete your paperwork for you.

Give from my IRA

Many of our donors are switching to stock donations to save on two types of taxes as they make an immediate impact for the children and families we serve. To help you donate your stock in a few minutes online, we have invested in this secure stock donation tool.

You’re not only assisting us to help others in need, but also helping the environment!

With a recycling rate of 57.4 percent, aluminum cans are the most recycled of all beverage containers. Producing a can with recycled content requires 95 percent less energy than making that same can out of raw material. This in turn conserves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and saves money.

Due to the lack of storage space at both the Ronald McDonald House and the Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, we cannot accept the cans and pop tabs at our facilities.

Please bring your aluminum cans and pop tabs to RMHC, or drop them off at Jarvis Metals Recycling at 7825 Olive Avenue and let them know you are donating on behalf of the Ronald McDonald House.

Thanks for helping Ronald McDonald House Charities by raising funds through aluminum recycling!

Donate your car, truck, boat or RV to RMHC of the Southwest “Where Cars Help Kids!”

If you think that old car in the driveway isn’t worth much, we would like to turn that thinking around.

By donating your car, truck boat or RV to us, you can help families of seriously ill children in our area. And on top of that, you can claim a tax deduction for your charitable donation. We’ll even come pick up your vehicle at no charge.

A dime here. A quarter there. It might not seem like much. But when millions give, the amount of those coins add up and help children and families worldwide. Money collected locally – stays local and gives directly into supporting our programs.

The RMHC Donation Boxes are one of our biggest ongoing fundraisers. It’s from people like you filling the Donation Boxes with nickels, dimes and quarters. Last year alone, nearly $25 million was collected worldwide.

Donation boxes are located at all McDonald’s Restaurants.

Just how powerful is the small change dropped into a McDonald’s Donation Box?

  1. If every McDonald’s customer in the U.S. donated a penny every time they visited a McDonald’s, we could collect more than $62 million to support RMHC children and families throughout the country.
  2. A full Donation Box could let a family stay together at a Ronald McDonald House for up to 1 night while their child receives care at a nearby hospital.
  3. A full Donation Box could provide a child with a dental screening in a Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.
  4. Change in the Donation Boxes can give families a place to rest in a Ronald McDonald Family Room, just steps from their child’s hospital bed.

We appreciate the compassionate support that McDonald’s gives our charity to help others.
