What is Quarterback S.A.C.K.?
For 22 years, Texas Tech University Athletics has partnered with RMHC of the Southwest in many ways. Quarterback S.A.C.K. (Supporting And Comforting Kids) is a fun tradition for fans to celebrate anytime a RED RAIDER takes down (SACKS) an opposing team’s quarterback! Fans pledge $ per sack, or one-time donation, and then CHEER LOUD and PROUD and know they are helping Keep families close.
Make your pledge today for Quarterback S.A.C.K. and on game day, cheer on the Red Raiders and each time the Red Raider Defense sacks an opposing quarterback, your pledges help sick or injured children and their families.
It’s a fun way to make your donations count. Remember, every S.A.C.K. helps to Support And Comfort Kids!
Ways to participate in Quarterback S.A.C.K.:
- Quarterback S.A.C.K. Kick-Off Lunch: Thursday, July 27th at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion (2680 Drive of Champions). Our Kick-off Lunch will feature TTU Head Coach, Joey McGuire, and other special guests.
- Pledge to Support And Comfort Kids (S.A.C.K.): Make a $ pledge for each sack of the opposing team’s quarterback that the Red Raiders will get in this upcoming football season. For example, if you pledge $5 per sack and the Red Raiders get 25 total sacks, you will donate $125 at the end of the football season (RMHC will send you an reminder). You pledge, Tech sacks, kids and families win! Make your pledge below.
- Make a one-time donation: You can Support And Comfort Kids with a donation at anytime during our Quarterback S.A.C.K. campaign.
All participants have the chance to be entered in a raffle to win a La-Z-Boy donated by the family owned La-Z-Boy of Lubbock.
