RMHC of the Southwest provides families with the ability to stay close to their child when they are receiving medical care through our Ronald McDonald House in Lubbock, our four Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, and various additional support programs. Your financial support allows us to continue to serve these families.

With a recycling rate of 57.4 percent, aluminum cans are the most recycled of all beverage containers. Producing a can with recycled content requires 95 percent less energy than making that same can out of raw material. This in turn conserves energy, reduces greenhouse gas emissions and saves money.

Donate your car, truck, boat or RV to RMHC of the Southwest “Where Cars Help Kids!”

If you think that old car in the driveway isn’t worth much, we would like to turn that thinking around.

By donating your car, truck boat or RV to us, you can help families of seriously ill children in our area. And on top of that, you can claim a tax deduction for your charitable donation. We’ll even come pick up your vehicle at no charge.

We need a lot of the same items you need at your house, only in larger quantities.

Here is our Wish List of needs:

• Kitchen: Paper Towels, Plates & Bowls, Trash Bags, Plastic Forks & Spoons, Foil, Press-n-Seal, Ziploc Storage Bags, Storage Containers w/Lids, Disposable Gloves for Food Handling

• Bathroom: Toilet Paper, Facial Tissue, White Hand Towels & White Bath Towels

• Cleaning: Clorox Disinfectant Wipes, Lysol Disinfectant Spray, Air Freshener, Furniture Polish, All Purpose Cleaner, Spray Way Cleaner

• Baby Items: Receiving Blankets

• Toiletries: Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Dental Floss, Q-Tips, Deodorant, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Lotion, Razors, Hand Sanitizer

• Laundry Room: Bleach, Detergent-he (any brand), Fabric Softener, Washing Machine Cleaner

To help maintain clinical integrity, please make sure that all items are new and in original packaging. Wish list donations can be brought to Ronald McDonald House or Ronald McDonald Family Rooms.

A dime here. A quarter there. It might not seem like much. But when millions give, the amount of those coins add up and help children and families worldwide. Money collected locally – stays local and gives directly into supporting our programs.

The RMHC Donation Boxes are one of our biggest ongoing fundraisers. It’s from people like you filling the Donation Boxes with nickels, dimes and quarters. Last year alone, nearly $25 million was collected worldwide.

Donation boxes are located at all McDonald’s Restaurants.

Just how powerful is the small change dropped into a McDonald’s Donation Box?

Do you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, or any other assets not included in your will? If so, these are called non-probate assets and you must plan your beneficiaries for them separately. Use this online tool to make your plans and designate us as a beneficiary of

Fundraising events are a significant part of RMHC’s annual budget. These events allow us to not only celebrate and have fun, but bring awareness of our mission to new people. Support for these events come in many forms ,including: purchasing a ticket to attend the event, becoming a sponsor for an event, and donating auction items or in-kind gifts for the event.

Hosting your own fundraiser for RMHC of the Southwest is a fun way to get your family, friends, and organizations involved. Some ways in which people have hosted a fundraiser include:
